Having four separate records of the same history and events may increase historical trustworthiness, but it decreases readability. To make reading about Jesus easier, the book “Jesus” is a combination –or harmony– of the four most reliable records of His life and ministry: the Gospels according to Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John.

When reading these four books one after another, or even concurrently with the help of a chronological verses-list, it becomes clear how helpful a single storyline of Jesus’ life would be, with all the different events and sayings put together.

Many dedicated souls have attempted piecing those four Gospel accounts together, achieving various levels of completeness. Oftentimes sayings are repeated being from different books but slightly different, which causes unnecessary repetition and distraction for the reader. A more thoughtful, and closely knit combination is needed. Other final products attempt to explain why certain events are organized and left as they are –which helps when comparing one chronology with another– but a mountain of questions still remain about other harmonizations and other timeline issues when not explained. 

Because no Gospel Harmony has ever been done which fully explains how or why each event and saying of The Lord Jesus Christ can be harmonized into a single story, this project began. From start to finish, every moment of the chronological organization and verse harmonization has been video recorded, so that every thought and every editing decision may be widely known. Every single moment of the lengthy process is freely available to the world for analysis and correction.

This monumental life-work is publicly provided as an invitation for further research.
